The intersection of Main and Commercial Street reopens after work to remake the intersection wrapped up two days ahead of the two-week scheduled close. A letter "B" in now featured in the middle of the intersection with Commercial and Main Streets.
The intersection is now open to thru traffic on Commercial Street while Main Street remains closed from the intersection to Business 65/Veterans Blvd as work continues to finish the first major part of the Main Street renovation. According to the time line released by the city in March, this first part of the project should be complete this month with the next part of the Main Street project, from Commercial to Sycamore Street, should begin shortly afterward and continue into October.
