Branson Mayor Larry Milton says that both sides have been talking to move forward with a partnership between the city and the Branson Chamber for marketing.
Milton says during and interview Tuesday on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that there have been good conversations with all involved to move in the same direction marketing to all visitors. Milton said the message about Faith, Family, and Flag is meant to let visitors know what to expect in Branson as they would in other visitor destinations like Las Vegas, Nashville, and New Orleans.
Milton did also talk about the new marketing contract with the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, which was given final approval later at the Tuesday evening Branson Board of Aldermen Meeting.
Milton also discussed the big visitor numbers as well as the new facilities in the works for both the Branson Fire and Police Departments, and the job performance so far of new City Administrator Cathy Stepp.
