Hollister, MO—The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the sixth annual Post-It Note, 3"x3" Art Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. All works of art will be sold at the affordable price of just $5 each. Proceeds are split between the artist and SMAC. This novel event is an important fundraiser for SMAC, helping to cover operating expenses of the Art Cente
The opening reception will be Friday, October 3, from 6-9pm. Unlike other SMAC gallery exhibits, art bought at the show can be taken from the gallery at the time of purchase. Art is sold on a first come, first served basis. Bearing that in mind, patrons are encouraged to consider an Early Access Pass, available on the SMAC website, allowing access to the show one hour prior to the opening reception. Many of the artists will be available to discuss their art during the reception. A framing station will be available with small frames suitable for the miniature artworks. Attendees may view the exhibit, tour the private studios, and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Vintage Paris Coffee kiosk will also be on site.
Each month during their exhibits, SMAC highlights one of the many local non-profit organizations that serve the area. In 2024,CAM’s Food Pantry provided more than two million pounds of food to those in need. Visit their website for more information www.christianactionministries.org.
