A deadly weekend on the roads in Barry County as three traffic crashes results in four fatalities according to reports issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
59-year-old Kimberly Andrews of Fair Grove died in a single vehicle crash Friday evening when her car overturned on Highway 39 near Madry, while on Saturday afternoon, 20-year-old Ricky Sanchez of Pea Ridge died when his ATV overturned on a County Road near Seligman while trying to avoid a dog in the roadway.
The other two fatalities occurred just after noon on Sunday as a result of a head-on collision on Highway 37 south of Monett that caused both vehicles to overturn. The drivers of both vehicles, 77-year-old Sally Daugherty of Monett and an unidentified 17-year-old woman from Rogers were both killed while a passenger in Daugherty's vehicle was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
The weekend crashes push the number of fatalities worked by Troop D of the Missouri Highway Patrol to 23 for 2022.
