Dakota Akers wants to leave a legacy for his kids and educate people in the process.
Akers appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Wednesday to discuss The Hunting Legacy. While his family has hands in multiple restaurants, he wants to lend a hand in hunting. For Akers, it is a longtime passion.
He described simpler times of sitting around a campfire with others. He was compelled to encourage others to pursue unplugging and learning to hunt after a fast. Akers' YouTube channel exists to just that. It's tagline, “It’s Time to Leave a Legacy for Generations to Come,” speaks to Akers desire to, as he put it, not make a name for himself but leave a legacy.
The Hunting Legacy is still growing its channel. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Akers is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
